I am a wine educator and WSET Level 3 Certified Sommelier based in Naples, FLorida. I provide custom wine tasting packages in your home or event site.  I will work with you personally to plan your tasting. Your package price includes an initial audio or video phone call in which we will determine the type of tasting you want to have.  We will determine the number of wines you wish to taste as well as the appropriate quantity of each.  I will work within your budget to select wines that will best help to reflect the desired teaching and tasting points.  (If you have specific wines you wish to include, I will of course do that.)   If your vision includes providing your guests with food, I can offer options (including links to online recipes)  that will  pair well with the wines selected and thereby enhance the experience.  A few days prior to your event, we will once again speak to finalize timing and address any last-minute questions or concerns.  I will be available to you via phone, text, or email throughout the planning process.

For parties of 12 or less, I will purchase the wine and bring it to you the day of the event.  For larger groups, it is usually more practical to have the wine delivered directly to the event site.  I am not affiliated with any wine merchants, wine/liquor distributors, restaurants, liquor stores, or other outside parties.  I do NOT sell wine.  Your package price includes the price of the wine, including any taxes, as well as my fee. 

The day of your event, I will arrive approximately 1 hour in advance to set up the tasting.  For parties of 12 or less, I will provide all glassware.  All tastings include tasting placemats as well as paper and pens for note-taking.  For the Introduction to Wine and Food Pairing package, I will also provide individual plates with appropriate examples of acid (lemon), salt, sweet, and umami.

Tastings generally last approximately 45 minutes - 1 hour.  There will be ample time for questions and answers.

When the tasting is over, I will remove all glassware , spit cups, and paper placemats.  You and your guests are free to enjoy the remainder of your party!
